Fujifilm has this week announced the availability of a new square format analog Instax camera taking the form of the Instax Square SQ6 which measures a pocket-sized 118.7 x 128.1 x 58.1mm and captures and prints photographs 62 x 62mm in size. Fujifilm Instax film Needs to be purchased separately and costs $12.54 per pack of 10 prints and is available from online retailers such as Amazon and takes approximately 90 seconds to develop once a photograph has been snapped. Specifications include a retractable f = 65.75mm, 1:12.6 lens, inverted Galilean finder, 0.4x, with target spot, Motor-driven 3-range switching (0.3m – 0.5m / 1ft. – 1.6ft., 0.5m – 2m / 1.6ft – 6.6ft., 2m / 6.6ft. and beyond), Macro Mode (0.3m – 0.5m / 1ft. – 1.6ft.) Normal Mode (0.5m – 2m / 1.6ft – 6.6ft.) Landscape Mode (2m / 6.6ft and beyond)

And at 1.3times the size of instax mini prints, there’s plenty of room to set the scene. You can check the capture area of your selfie in a mirror next to the lens.
